Typically the day starts at 10.00am and at this point we all meet and introduce ourselves before we start in earnest at 10.30am. Nobody needs to bring anything to the course as we provide everything, including tea, coffee and biscuits to greet you on your arrival and for the break period between sessions, plus wine for our lunch. In addition you will be given a welcome pack that will contain a notepad and pencil, an apron and copies of the recipes.
These courses are designed for a certain amount of participation, so we will ask for volunteers to assist putting the dishes together. So make sure you join in the fun. “hands on” learning is always much more rewarding.
Timing is an important feature of cooking, so it is essential we follow the timetable as rigidly as possible so that all the elements dovetail together. These courses are for you and we want you to get maximum benefit out of the experience. There will also be ample opportunity to talk during the break and over lunch, so if things occur to you afterwards then you can discuss them then.
After all the cooking is over, we relax over an informal buffet lunch which will provide us with an opportunity to sit down relax and talk about our favourite subject, food!
